THE AURA

Throughout history there have been people who have identified the luminous glow that surrounds people. In general, observers have depicted a glow of colours or ‘gloria’ emitting from the general area around the head or shoulders. This observation was mostly akin to people of supposed higher rank or holding religious or spiritual virtues. In less reported circumstances, the whole body may be seen to be embraced within an extended vibrational movement of colour; this in known as the Aureole or Nimbus.

These observations describe either the Aureole, which essentially means a painted or carved representation of a circle of light around the head of a divine being, or saint. The word Nimbus denotes a cloud of light, which surrounds a god, goddess, saintly or holy person. The Aura has it as come to be known is representative of Spiritual Power. Throughout history Godheads or Saints were generally depicted in gold, whilst Patriarchs in silver, the more ordinary people were given an array of colours from blue, red, yellow, green, orange, indigo to violet. Superstition and negativity through history has depicted black has a colour synonymous with evil. However, today’s teachings reflect that black is more of a reflective colour and with the more advanced, or an astute spiritual teacher, there is the capacity to grasp this concept of understanding.

Indeed, one ascertains the need for contrasting the other colours within the spectrum of light. Often eastern religions see the aura as a flame; sometime around the whole body, or just the head. In earlier time, the Ancient Greeks, Romans and the early Chinese depicted the aura within scripts, manuscripts and paintings. Seers, prophets, psychics and clairvoyants have all given testimony and clear descriptions of colours and energy that has emanated from the physical body. Over recent years; there has been a movement of people who have used a more scientific approach to researching the subject and ascertaining the measurements of the auras composition. The most dramatic conclusions were made in Russia, when an electrician witnessed dramatic images whilst using high-frequency electric currents, this produced impressions and patterns of lines, spots and haphazard lines when in close proximity to photographic paper.

The Aura is an electro-magnetic force field, which surrounds all living things and responds to illness, tension, emotions, mentality, individuality and spiritual growth. The aura is a living testimony of the life we have lead, but does not foretell the future and is purely a diary of an individual’s life; up until a specific or particular moment in a person’s physical life.

The study of auric fields offers a wide array of differing views and one should be aware that the comprehension of this specialist subject is best left to the individual’s interpretation. Nevertheless, I can only report on my own interpretation and upon the knowledge passed to me through my Spiritual Teacher and Mentor Jack Corbett, a highly skill practitioner in the field of ‘Auric Development and Colour Healing’.

Through my own Spiritual Teachings I denote there are ‘four’ auric fields and they are as follows:

1. The Physical Aura

2. The Mental Aura

3. The Etheric Aura

4. The Spiritual Aura

5. The Natural State

The natural State is the energy field identified either by objective or subjective clairvoyance. The colour identified existing around a person, signifies either the present situation, or situation (conditions) around that person. The colour within the Natural State like the Aura does not provide an insight in the future or does not foretell forthcoming events.

Natural State awareness is an ideal platform for a new student developing their ‘spiritual faculties’. The process is suitable for an insight into awareness of both the Mental and Psychical Auric Fields this in turn presents a key for the identification of potential and spiritual opportunity whilst signifying the present state of a person’s material situation. Positive or negative vibrations are identified and an insight is provided through the interpretation of the configuration of the colour observe.
